Vivek Lagoo and Reema Lagoo met in the 1970s while working in a bank. Their mutual love for theatre brought them closer, and they married in 1978. Although the couple separated a few years later, they remained on good terms. Reema continued to use the surname “Lagoo” throughout her career, a mark of mutual respect.
In an earlier interview, Vivek had shared that their decision to part ways was a step toward “restructuring their lives,” and there was never any bitterness in their separation.
Reema Lagoo’s Sudden Death in 2017
Reema Lagoo passed away in May 2017 at the age of 59 due to a sudden heart attack. She was actively working on the TV show Naamkarann when the tragedy struck.
