Details of the Threat

The message included a stark warning: “If Salman Khan wants to stay alive, he should go to our temple and apologise or pay Rs 5 crore. If he does not do so, we will kill him; our gang is still active.” The police are currently investigating the message and are working to trace its sender.

Previous Incidents

This threat comes in the wake of several alarming incidents involving Salman Khan:

  • On October 28, a 20-year-old man named Mohammad Tayyab, also known as Gurfan Khan, was arrested in Noida in connection with a threat call involving Salman Khan and NCP MLA Baba Siddique’s son, Zeeshan Siddique.
  • Earlier this year, two individuals attempted to trespass onto Khan’s farmhouse in Panvel using fake identities.
  • In 2023, he received a threat email allegedly sent by gangster Goldy Brar, and in 2022, a letter threatening the actor was discovered on a bench near his residence.

Increased Security Measures

Following the recent murder of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique, who was killed outside Zeeshan Siddique’s office while celebrating Dussehra, Salman Khan’s security cover has been significantly increased. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for Siddique’s murder, citing his close ties with the actor.

Recent Ransom Demand

Additionally, on October 30, Salman Khan received another death threat from an unknown individual who demanded a ransom of Rs 2 crore.
