Allu Arjun Visits Hospital to Meet Child Injured in Sandhya Theatre Stampede: Actor Allu Arjun made a heartfelt visit to KIMS Hospital in Hyderabad on Tuesday to meet Sri Teja, the young boy seriously injured in the tragic stampede that occurred during the premiere of his latest film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, at Sandhya Theatre. The boy is currently undergoing treatment for the injuries sustained in the incident that occurred on December 4, 2024.
Accompanied by his team, Allu Arjun was seen entering the hospital wearing a green sweater and black pants. His visit to the hospital had been highly anticipated, and videos and photos of the actor meeting Sri Teja surfaced on social media shortly after his arrival. The visit had been initially planned for January 5 but had been postponed due to security and public order concerns, as advised by the police. Telangana State Film Development Corporation (FDC) Chairman Dil Raju was also present during Arjun’s visit.

While Allu Arjun expressed his deep concern for the injured child and his family, he had refrained from visiting earlier due to ongoing legal proceedings. The actor had wished for a speedy recovery for Sri Teja and had stated that he was eager to meet the child but had been advised against it for legal reasons. Sri Teja’s father, Bhaskar, expressed his gratitude towards Allu Arjun for his support, revealing that the boy had begun responding after being unresponsive for 20 days. Bhaskar credited both the actor and the Telangana government for their assistance during this difficult time.
The stampede at Sandhya Theatre occurred when fans gathered in large numbers to see Allu Arjun during the Pushpa 2 premiere. In the chaos, a woman named Revathi tragically lost her life, while her eight-year-old son was severely injured. Following the incident, a case was filed against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management. The charges, filed under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), were based on a complaint lodged by the deceased woman’s family.
Allu Arjun was initially arrested on December 13 in connection with the case but was granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court on December 14. Later, on January 3, the city court granted him regular bail. The actor is now listed as accused No. 11 in the case, and the investigation continues.
