Salman Khan’s work schedule is facing serious disruptions due to increasing security concerns and death threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Over the weekend, it became clear that the actor was feeling the impact of these threats, especially when he appeared on Bigg Boss 18 Weekend Ka Vaar looking visibly affected. Besides the threats, he was also dealing with the emotional toll of Baba Siddique’s passing.
Following this, there were reports that director Rohit Shetty decided to drop plans for Salman’s Chulbul Pandey cameo in the upcoming film Singham Again because of Salman’s distress. Now, rumors are circulating that the filming for his movie Sikandar has also come to a halt.
However, a source told News18 Showsha that this isn’t entirely accurate. According to someone close to Salman, the actor is reducing his work commitments to keep a low profile amid the ongoing threats. The source mentioned that it’s no longer just about providing him strict security. For the time being, Salman will be lying low, possibly for an extended period. The actor’s close friend allegedly told Times Now that Salman “won’t be shooting for anything for a while, maybe even indefinitely.”
This situation reflects how the constant death threats are affecting not only Salman’s mental state but also his professional life. For now, it seems like he is taking a step back from his usual busy work routine to prioritize his safety.
An insider shared that it’s difficult to say anything definite at the moment. The movie Sikandar requires a lot of carefully planned action scenes, and director Murugadoss needs Salman’s full focus. But given the current situation, it seems nearly impossible for Salman to be fully engaged. The future of the film is still uncertain, and right now, the top priority is the safety of Salman and his family. “That won’t be compromised under any circumstance,” the insider emphasized.
Eid 2025. The film has been in production for a few months, and actors Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal, who play important roles, confirmed the start of shooting through their social media posts. A few weeks ago, it was also reported that Salman Khan had injured himself on the film’s set, and the actor confirmed that he had hurt his ribs during filming.
Recently, however, Salman has been dealing with serious death threats from members of Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. The latest threat came shortly after the murder of Baba Siddique, a Mumbai political leader who was close to Salman. Baba Siddique was shot outside his son’s office and passed away in the hospital. As a result of these threats, Salman’s security has been significantly increased.
