According to reports by IndiaTV, the late Rishi Kapoor allegedly misbehaved with Seema Sajdeh, who was then known as Seema Khan, the wife of Sohail Khan. The incident reportedly occurred at Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding reception. Rishi Kapoor, upset with Salman’s attitude, approached Seema and engaged in a heated argument. Seema informed Salman about the incident, which led to Salman losing his calm and looking for Rishi Kapoor. However, by the time Salman confronted the situation, Rishi Kapoor had already left the venue. Later, Rishi’s wife, Neetu Kapoor, apologized to Seema and Sohail on his behalf.
Salman’s Take on Respect and Disrespect
During the promotion of his film “Race 3,” Salman addressed the matter indirectly in an interview with DNA. He refrained from naming anyone but made his stance clear. He said, “I don’t have enemies. It’s just that I don’t like a few people. It’s very obvious because I make no bones about it. Just because someone is born a few years before me, it’s no reason for me to respect him. If that person keeps on disrespecting me or any member of my family, I refuse to give him due regard.”
Salman further emphasized the importance of mutual respect, stating, “I definitely believe that whether someone is a senior or a junior, you shouldn’t be disrespectful to them. Especially if you are working with them. However, if that person is taking you for an idiot and is being disrespectful, then that’s not done.”
